From Virginia’s Kitchen – Tortilla Wheels

This fun appetizer is always a great beginning to any gathering. You can get creative with the filling and add whatever you want—like shredded chicken. And the best part is you can prepare these well ahead of time and refrigerate. Enjoy!

Tortilla Wheels


2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese

1 (8 oz.) can chopped black olives

1 bunch green onions, tops only, chopped

12 (8”) flour tortillas


Let cream cheese soften for 30 minutes. Blend together with olives and green onion until smooth. Spread equally on the tortillas, covering completely, and roll up each in a jelly roll fashion. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 

To serve, slice into bite-size “wheels” and spread out on a platter with a bowl of salsa in the middle for dipping. Enjoy!
