A note from Chuck

Dear Friend,

I’m so grateful for the unshakable hope you and I have in Christ.

When my dad, Warren Olson, went home to be with the Lord on July 11th, I knew I’d see him again. Because that’s what the Bible promises us as followers of Jesus.

So as Dad left for heaven, my words over him were:

Dad, you made it. You finished well. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving my mom so well. Thank you for an unwavering faith even when life was hard. Thank you for praying each day for my family.

Thank you for the legacy that you leave. Now enjoy your reception in heaven, greeting your Savior and all your loved ones who have gone before.

Dad devoted such a large part of his life to making sure that other senior adults could have that same hope in Christ.

I praise God for granting me the privilege of being Warren’s son. I also praise Him for the vision He gave my dad to establish Senior Living Ministries so many years ago to bring the hope, encouragement, and love of Jesus to seniors across our country.

At Senior Living Ministries, we are committed to seeing the lives of senior adults transformed by the hope and love of Jesus Christ, and we value your prayers and support as we move forward.

And whatever you’re going through today, let me encourage you with one of the verses Dad loved to share with me:

“Always be joyful. Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 TLB).

Thank you again for your support, as we step forward together to help more seniors embrace the life God has for them to enjoy!
